Manny has enjoyed learning and playing sports his whole life, managing not to embarrass himself at baseball, tennis, ultimate frisbee, surfing, capoeira and swimming. Well, maybe capoeira, but it was awesome! However, once he did his first Deep End Fitness workout, he found his true athletic calling. As a Deep End Fitness instructor, he not only loves helping people obtain the skills and mindset to succeed at DEF workouts, but also gets a kick out of watching clients develop a confident relationship with the water as they push past their limits. He is proud to be part of the Los Alamitos Tridents and is looking forward to competing in the Underwater Torpedo League for many years to come, feeling like a kid again in the deep end of the pool.
