Former Navy Commander, Special Operations Officer, and Navy Diving Officer serving at numerous

Diving and Special Warfare units in a variety of roles including CO and XO tours. Walter grew up in, and

around the water in San Diego which fostered a deep respect, love, and appreciation for the water. He is

an avid surfer, swimmer, and diver.

Walter ardently believes in the power of DEF to positively impact the heart, soul, and mind, while

building strength and confidence to tackle all of life’s challenges and is excited to build a strong,

supportive DEF community in Austin for athletes of all skill and ability levels.
