DEF - Off the Streets Program ©

DEF “off the streets” Program is designed for athletes off the streets to develop a basic understanding of Deep End Fitness’s methodology of building strength, muscle endurance, speed, and lung capacity/VO2 in and out of the water.  

Equipment Needed: Kettlebells (KB) or dumbbells (DB), preferably a good range between 26-53 pounds but the workouts can be done with any weight. Tailor the weight to your fitness level.

DEF - Power Endurance Program ©

The DEF Power Endurance Program is designed for athletes that have a solid foundation of strength and power training. This program focuses on maintaining strength and building maximum endurance by creating explosive power in movements over an extended period of time.

Equipment Needed: Kettle Bells (KB) or Dumb bells (DB), preferably a good range between 26-53 pounds but the workouts can be done with any weight. Tailor the weight to your fitness level.

DEF - Strength & Conditioning Program ©

DEF “Strength& Conditioning” Program combines days of lifting heavy load training for light reps to conditioning with a sustainable load to increase muscle work efficiency so that athletes can maintain faster speeds for longer. Building strength through heavy loads followed by plyometric exercise increases not only strength but maximal oxygen uptake (VO2 max), running economy, peak velocity, and time trials as well.

Military Prep Course ©

DEF Military Prep Program is designed for the individuals developing water skills, strength, and endurance to significantly increase their chances of success at various higher echelon of military training. This program will focus on building strength, muscle endurance, speed, CO2 tolerance, and lung capacity/VO2 in and out of the water.

UTL Prep Course ©

The UTL Preparation Program is designed for athletes off the streets developing a basic understanding of Deep End Fitness’s methodology of building strength, muscle endurance, speed, CO2 tolerance, VO2 max, and lung capacity in and out of the water. This program is used to build on the UTL fundamentals of being an underwater torpedo athlete: (FREE) Focus, Relaxation, Economy of Motion, and Efficient Breathing during training and gameplay. It is recommended to always train with a partner and implementing the buddy system while training subsurface.
